At the Eye Disease Center (ophthalmology clinic) of “Meliva” clinics, various eye diseases and vision disorders are diagnosed and treated. The Eye Disease Center (adult and pediatric ophthalmology clinics) provides ophthalmological services both on an outpatient basis and in hospital settings.

• “Meliva” clinics offer a very broad range of services required for diagnosing and treating eye conditions. Using modern equipment, services include everything from comprehensive eye examinations and monitoring of patients with chronic diseases to laser treatments and surgical eye procedures.
• At “Meliva” clinics, patients are consulted and treated by ophthalmologists (eye doctors), including those holding scientific degrees.
• A detailed examination of eye health is performed for cataracts, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, other retinal diseases, dry eye syndrome, inflammatory diseases of the eye and eyelids, and more.
• The eye surgery center applies modern laser treatments for glaucoma, secondary cataracts, retinal diseases, and vitreous opacities.
• The eye surgery center also performs surgical procedures for cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid and conjunctival conditions, age-related macular degeneration, as well as eyelid plastic (cosmetic) surgeries.
• For patient convenience, accommodation and specialist supervision after eye surgery are also provided.
