Urology Center

The Urology Center (Urology Clinic) is a facility where diseases of the urinary and reproductive systems are diagnosed and treated, such as erectile dysfunction, prostate diseases, bladder disorders, urinary incontinence, kidney stones, ureter and bladder stones, and others.

At the Urology Center:

• Consultations and treatment are provided by urologists;

• консультации on sexual health and intimate life issues are offered;

• Various diagnostic tests are performed:

  • Instrumental tests – ultrasound examinations;
  • Prostate biopsy (performed as part of a programmed examination or upon request);
  • Radiological tests (X-ray and computed tomography);
  • Urodynamic studies;
  • Laboratory tests – complete blood count, urinalysis, urea and creatinine tests, urine culture, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, prostate secretion analysis, PCR tests from urine samples to detect DNA of infectious agents.

• Therapeutic and aesthetic urological surgeries are performed, including:

  • Laparoscopic surgeries of the urinary and reproductive organs and their blood vessels;
  • Endoscopic procedures of the urethra, prostate, bladder, and upper urinary tract;
  • Open surgeries of the urinary and reproductive organs;
  • Plastic (reconstructive) surgery of the genital organs.

An early prostate cancer detection program is also provided, including the possibility of prostate biopsy. This program is funded by the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (PSDF).
