Pediatric Care and Development Center

The Children’s Disease Treatment and Development Center (Children’s Clinic) diagnoses and treats pediatric diseases and provides healthcare services for children with developmental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

At the center (Children’s Clinic), the following pediatric specialists provide consultations, examinations, and treatment:

• Pediatricians monitor children’s development (from birth to 18 years), focus on disease prevention, and diagnose and treat illnesses;
• Pediatric endocrinologists diagnose and treat disorders and diseases of endocrine organ development, as well as growth, pubertal development, and bone development disorders;
• Pediatric gastroenterologists diagnose and treat children with digestive tract and liver disorders;
• Pediatric cardiologists diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart and cardiovascular diseases in children;
• Pediatric neurologists consult infants with risk factors after birth (premature birth, cesarean section, instrumental delivery, umbilical cord complications, etc.), as well as children with restlessness, sleep disorders, developmental delays, headaches, urinary incontinence, increased sensitivity, back pain, epilepsy, and other conditions;
• Pediatric orthopedic traumatologists diagnose and treat musculoskeletal disorders, injuries, and congenital or acquired conditions;
• Pediatric otorhinolaryngologists (ENT specialists) diagnose and treat ear, nose, and throat diseases;
• Child psychologists consult children and their parents, helping them cope with difficult life situations;
• Child and adolescent psychiatrists provide consultations for children, adolescents, and their parents or guardians on developmental, emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders;
• Pediatric pulmonologists diagnose and treat respiratory and lung diseases;
• Pediatric surgeons consult children regarding abdominal wall hernias, bowel disorders, skin and soft tissue lesions, diseases of the external genital organs in boys, and conditions of the anus and rectum, among others.

Consultations are provided by private child psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, pediatric neurologists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists.

When Should You Contact the Center?

You should seek help if you notice that:

• The child’s physical and/or language development is delayed;
• The child has difficulties with social interaction;
• The child experiences stress, emotional, mood, or anxiety disorders;
• There are difficulties with concentration or excessive activity interfering with daily functioning;
• Fears, intrusive thoughts, or repetitive behaviors develop;
• The child has sleep or eating disturbances;
• The child experiences discomfort due to pain or other sensations without a clear physical (somatic) illness;
• Learning difficulties appear (reading, writing);
• The child or family is experiencing crisis situations or adaptation difficulties.
