Repeated consultation of a doctor ophthalmologist (Ph.D.)

A follow-up consultation is prescribed by a specialist physician for the same reason as the initial visit (to continue and monitor treatment) within a certain period, the duration of which is determined by the specialist based on the treatment plan. An important condition of a follow-up consultation is that the physician may, as needed, decide the period during which the patient qualifies for follow-up status.

If a patient seeks care on their own initiative due to a deterioration of their condition for the same reason, a follow-up consultation may be provided within a period of 1 month after the specialist’s consultation. The 1-month period is calculated from the date of the initial visit.
